EarCandy Has 5 different handle options to choose from. All of our handles are placed in a way that the cab is balanced when being carried and handles are all low profile. This means that you can stack them 5-6 high wth no problems. Our rubber feet are made to clear our handles as well as many other handles and our tall rubber feet will clear just about anything.
We have a no handles option for studio cabs.
We have a strap handle which is recomended for the 1x10 and 1x12 cabs.
We also have the side dish and top dish handle as well as the Tophat handles for the ported 2x12 cabs. EarCandy Has these handles made to our specification which entails resonant reisistant, heavily powdered coated black steel, no plastic, full bar handle Handles with a lifetime warranty. Adding these handles to your cab will not sway the tone one way or the other.
The side spring handles require no cutting out of the cab but do extend out from the cab one half of a inch. These handles are very heavy duty and can hold a weight of 80 pounds per handle. With our heaviest cab weighing in at 55-60 pounds, your assured no handle failure. Each spring handle is loaded with a rubber grip and works on a 2 plate system for extra durability. These also have a lifetime warranty on them.
Pick the handles you feel apropriate for your heigth and strength and dont worry about them hampering your tone. They do not rattle vibrate or resonate even at the highest volume levels, even with Bass enclosures.
If you are under 5 feet 10 inches, you will want to configure 2x cabs so that you can carry it horizontally.
